Main Waterfall Area

Smoke from water: The waterfall descends straight down, arousing masses of water mist, covering the two sides of the cloud, like clouds and smoke. As the poem goes: "Collect a pot of water, and release clouds to cover half the sky."

Introduction to Heqingmen Pier

During the Ming and Qing Dynasties, water transportation on the Yellow River was bustling. To meet the demand for "sailing on dry land," Longwangyuan naturally formed a flood and dry wharf, along with a market town on the east bank of Hukou.

1Kenanpo, formerly known as Nancunpo, is located 39 kilometers northwest of Jixian County and 8 kilometers from Hukou Waterfall. During the Second Sino-Japanese War (1940-1945), it served as the headquarters for the National Second War Area, the Shanxi Provincial Government, the Taiyuan Pacification

Renzu Mountain, also known as Pao Mountain and Feng Mountain, is located 45 kilometers northwest of Ji County in Linfen, Shanxi Province, and about 20 kilometers southwest of the famous Yellow River Hukou Waterfall. It is about 5 kilometers west of the Yellow River.
