From September 23 to 25, 2021, Hukou Waterfall Tourism Area of Shanxi Province held a national 5A-level tourism area Construction training conference of all staff in Conference Room 1, Jizhou New Town, Ji County and Conference Room of Tourism Area Development Center.

The training was coordinated and promoted by the Development Center of Hukou Waterfall Tourism Area and carefully organized by Hukou Branch of Hongyuan Cultural Tourism Group Co., Ltd. Professional lecturers were specially invited from the 5A-level Construction Working Group of Hongtong Large Locust Tree Tourism Area. According to the training standard of national 5A-level tourism area, it was a centralized and specialized training for all the staff in the tourism area. With the unified, professional and systematic training of 5A-level related training sessions, the training itself aimed at raising the awareness of service and overall thinking, maintaining good service quality, developing the spirit of dedication to jobs and good professional ethics, so as to improve the management, service and overall qualities that staff possessed. The training also targeted at the improvement of reception services offered by the staff in scenic spot and enhancement of their recognition and understanding about “Standard and quality reception services”. Through the improvement of staff’s skills and overall qualities, the quality and efficiency of their working could also be improved so as to speed up the development of national 5A-level tourism area construction of Hukou Waterfall Tourism Area.

The opening ceremony of the training was hosted by Wang Tianqing, executive deputy general manager of Hukou Branch of Hukou Branch of Hongyuan Cultural Tourism Group Co., Ltd., and speeches were given by Yang Zongru, deputy director of Development Center of Hukou Waterfall Tourism Area, and Yao Jinhui, executive director of Hongyuan Cultural Tourism Group Co., Ltd. and general manager of Hukou Branch of Hongyuan Cultural Tourism Group Co., Ltd. respectively.

First of all, Yao Jinhui, general manager of Hukou Branch of Hongyuan Cultural Tourism Group Co., Ltd., made a statement. Mr. Yao appealed that all the staff and related counterparts of the tourism area should fully understand the importance of this training. He attached great importance to the habit development of life-long learning, the implementation feasibility of evaluation results, interaction with exemplary scenic spots and establishment of references from experiences. Mr. Yao hoped that everyone attended the training should take it seriously, taking responsibility, completing the mission and having an overall perspective of history. He urged that all of people should stick together, make efforts and go forward hand in hand so as to usher in the great success that county party committee and government, Development Center of Hukou Waterfall Tourism Area and Hongyuan Cultural Tourism Group Co., Ltd. expected to see.

Later, Yang Zongru, deputy director of the Development Center of Hukou Waterfall Tourism Area, made a speech. Mr. Yang stressed that the party committee and government of the county had already prioritized the 5A-level tourism area construction, putting it on the working schedule ever since the mission was launched. For this, weekly regular meeting was held, clear list of responsibilities was made and specialized working group was set up, which kept an eye on the progress of construction. In the meanwhile, all the members of Development Center of Hukou Waterfall Tourism Area participated in the construction, with a clear division of labor and dedication, and progress was made little by little steadily. Mr. Yang said everyone had a decisive role in the construction in order to make a 5A-level tourism area of Hukou Waterfall Tourism Area. He emphasized that it was up to everyone to improve the service and management of Hukou Waterfall Tourism Area, as well as the satisfaction of tourists and attraction of more tourists. Therefore, this training was, is and will be of great importance, which shall the focus of everyone!

After the opening ceremony, He Donghai, a professional lecturer of 5A-level Construction Working Group of Hongtong Large Locust Tree Tourism Spot, gave an in-depth interpretation of the National 5A-level Tourism Area Construction Standards and Precautions During the Construction. Later, professional lecturers Wang Jing and Jin Lingling respectively trained all the staff of the tourism area for three days in terms of general service etiquette, emergency response of safety management, environmental health improvement and comprehensive quality improvement of catering services in the tourism area.
