The kiln last is a semicircular art pattern hung on the top of the stone kiln. It is first nailed to the top wall of the kiln with reed rods or sorghum rods, tied on both sides, and framed with hemp paper, and then framed with white newspapers. The kiln last is primarily made by paper cutting and scraping, supplemented by painting. The corners and center patterns of the kiln last are mostly black, which looks solemn and plain, and the colorful decorations combined gold and silver paper reflecting light appears a sense of splendor. During the Chinese New Year, elderly people mount kiln lasts with the central pattern of"Five Blessings and Longevity", and accompanied by a "Container Arrangement of Cutflowers" at the west side which seems so concise.
