When you came to Hukou of Shanxi Province, in addition to watching the magnificent Hukou Waterfall, there was nothing more than watching the donkey team offering tourist services beside the waterfall. The empty Hukou Waterfall Tourism Area has become a life stage for these farmers with donkey to show their self-worth. They dress uniformly, with a strong local flavor: wrapping a white towel around their heads, they wear a sheepskin fleece vest, a tight red belt, and with a long-stemmed Chinese pipe in hand. Even the black donkey, which is specially for tourists to ride, is dressed up as "peacocks".
