    Emergency Evacuation Platform

The emergency evacuation platform is mainly set up along the way in response to the lack of safety and emergency facilities at present. At the same time, it is the main entrance and exit for tourists to watch the waterfall. It is not permanent and adheres to the principle of light intervention.

The No. 1 emergency evacuation platform is planned to be built at the current stone pavilion, with an area of 700 square meters. At the same time it is the entrance of the characteristic tour route. It is equipped with ferry bus stops, rest facilities and emergency rescue facilities. The No. 2 emergency evacuation platform is planned to be constructed at the intersection of the current Zhongshi Village Road and the Guanhu Line Caihong Road. At the same time it serves as the entrance of the public tour line. It covers an area of 12,000 square meters. Its area of the safety island is 2,250 square meters. It is equipped with ferry bus stops, rest facilities, toilets, and emergency rescue facilities. The No. 3 emergency evacuation platform is planned to be built next to the embankment near Subsidiary Waterfall. It covers an area of 700 square meters. It is one of the emergency evacuation entrances and exits. It is equipped with emergency rescue facilities.

The construction of emergency evacuation platforms must adhere to the principle of visible services and invisible buildings, and the artificial buildings and structures in the sight of tourists should be zero. In view of the restricted terrain, no facilities that have nothing to do with safety and unobstructed access are not set up at the entrances and exits. Even the necessary security service facilities must be strictly controlled in scale and form, and hidden in nature.

It is like flour. It is commonly known as "white wave beach" and it can float when you step your foot on the yellow sand. When you walk on it, because of the soft sand, you will enjoy it very much.

    Shili Dragon Through

In the Hukou area, about 3 kilometers of the Yellow River beach from south to north, you can only hear the sound of the Yellow River, but you cannot see the Yellow River. This is because the Yellow River here is in a "Shili Dragon Through" that is 30 to 50 meters wide and nearly 5 kilometers long. The average depth of water in the dragon trough is more than 40 meters, and the river bank above the water is blocked by rugged stone walls. Only by standing on the edge of Dragon Through can you see the rushing and leaping of the Yellow River.

During the "light snow" season every winter, from the upperstream of the Yellow River, there is a steady stream of ice, until the heavy snow season, the ice in the river will cross the dragon trough. The river will freeze and it will become a natural ice bridge. Because the Dragon Trough is only a few tens of meters wide, the ice bridge here is quite strong and people and animals can go across it. When crossing the bridge, although there are sounds of cracks under your feet, there is no danger as long as you follow the traces of people walking by. In history, many military strategists have used ice bridges to cross rivers to obtain fighters. Shili Dragon Through is not only a good place to watch waterfalls and rivers, but also a geological wonder in the world, which has certain historical and cultural connotations.

    Stone Nest and Treasure Mirror

On the stone banks on both sides of the Dragon Trough from Hukou to Mengmen, there are various patterns of leaves and ancient fossils of insects and birds displayed on the stone slabs washed by water. On this light red stone slab with various patterns, there are different sizes of round nests, shallower than a few feet, deep as a few feet, as small as the mouth of a bowl, as big as a urn. The stone nest is filled with clear water, and the water surface is smooth and flat, like a mirror. The scenery of mountains and rivers reflect each other. It is commonly known as the "Stone Nest and Treasure Mirror".

    Yumao Isolated Peak

Behind the small ditch of the Dragon King Temple on the east bank, you can see an isolated mountain, like a hat floating in the sky. It is called "Yumao Peak", also known as "Shimao Mountain". It is said that it is changed by the hat of King Yu. Looking from a distance under the ray of the sun, it seems to move leisurely in the wind. Looking at it when the light is dimming, it seems to be shaking and falling down, making people feel that it is really made by the King Yu's hat.

Relics of the Yellow River Cable Bridge in Yuan Dynasty

At the beginning of the Yuan Dynasty, Mongolian general Mu Huali led his army to conquer the Niuxin Village built on the Yellow River by Yangzhen in the Jin Dynasty. After occupying Jizhou, in order to communicate the traffic between the Qin and Jin, cut tree stumps, wrap iron cables back and forth, erect bridge slabs to enable the army to cross it. It is called "Flying Bridge on the Yellow River" or "Flying on the Yellow River". Although the bridge was abandoned early, the ruins still exist. At 1055 meters downstream of Hukou Waterfall today, there are 3 main cable pile holes on each bank. After that, there are 15 pile holes on both banks. Measured by the main pile holes, the bridge was 3 meters and the span was 16 meters.
