- Waterfall Viewing Cave (Dragon Cave)
The Hukou Waterfall Viewing Cave is located on the east bank of Dragon Through directly below the waterfall, more than 40 meters away from the waterfall. It is chiseled along the natural layer. The waterfall viewing cave is composed of two parts: the waterfall viewing shaft and the waterfall viewing platform. The roof of the shaft is capped with reinforced concrete, with a diameter of 3.4 meters and a depth of 13.8 meters. A steel pipe with a diameter of 60cm is erected in the center of the shaft. A 68-level spiral iron steps is welded around the steel pipe. Tourists can descend from the steps to the bottom of the shaft, and then walk a few steps to the waterfall viewing platform. The top of the platform is still a suspended stone bank, about 2 meters high, 4 meters wide, and about 16 meters long, with a total area of more than 60 square meters. It is like a long corridor that can accommodate more than 30 tourists at one time to watch the waterfall. Standing on the waterfall viewing platform, the waterfall on the upper right is like a rushing yellow dragon descending from the sky, falling straight into the abyss below your feet, and you can see the raging waves and water splashes in the Dragon Trough in front from close. You can feel the momentum of Yellow River plunging thousands of miles and earth-shattering shock.
- Stone Nest and Treasure Mirror
On the stone banks on both sides of the Shili Dragon Trough from Hukou to Mengmen, many light red patterns such as leaves, insects and birds displayed on the stone slabs washed by water can often be seen. On the stone slabs covered with various patterns, there are round nests of different sizes and depths, as small as the mouth of a bowl or as big as an urn, shallower than a foot, and a few feet deep. The wall is smooth. The nest is filled with clear water, the surface of the water is smooth and flat, like a mirror, and the mountains and rivers are reflected in it. When visiting, tourists can wash their faces and observe themselves through the mirror. It is commonly known as the "Stone Nest and Treasure Mirror". The man Zhang Zhouhu in Ming dynasty once praised and said in a poem: "Because the treasure mirror was opened at Mengmen gate, Chang'e went to deal with the makeup at night ."
- Dressing Pool
On both sides of the Hukou Waterfall, it is usually stone beach. But during flood periods, yellow mud and sand flow across the river. However, near the Dragon King Temple on the East Bank, there is a clear water pool that is very clear and attractive. It adds a bit of beauty to it and becomes a unique landscape in the Hukou Waterfall Tourism Area. It is said that this is the "Dressing Pool" where the queen mother was dressed up in the past, where washing the dust can make the skin smooth and soft. Many tourists come here to wash the dust after watching the Hukou Waterfall and feel refreshed and comfortable.
